Nazanine Ratcliffe’s appeal denied

Despite widespread international calls for her release, it seems that all paths to a release have been blocked for British-Iranian Nazanine Zaghari-Ratcliffe, as her appeal to the supreme court was denied. Nazanine was working for the charitable arm of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, and she was arrested while visiting Iran with her infant daughter. Her husband, Richard Ratcliffe, complained that till now, the proceedings against her have been kept secret (two secret trials and a closed panel review) and that no solid evidence has been presented to base the false allegations against her. He called upon the British government to do more for her release.
