Life in Iran as a lesbian

Bahar Noorozi wrote an amazing column on the life of a Lesbian in Iran. From personal interviews she describes the government sanctioned tortures and punishment that a lesbian endures in Iran. These Include lashes, flogging, pouring of boiled water on the skin, beatings and coerced “re-orientation” courses.  Gay women in Iran face double discrimination – first as women and then as gays.
