UN resolution slams human rights abuses in Iran

A UN committee issued a scathing resolution in regards to “enforced disappearances”, “arbitrary detention”, “severe limitations on freedom of thought, conscience and religion or belief”, “alarmingly high frequency of the death penalty” and “human rights violations against women and girls” in Iran. Tehran’s answer? The resolution is politicized and ia an abuse of human rights.
