“There’s no greater suffering than to be forgotten”

Mehdi Rajabian and Hossein Rajabian are two Iranian music distributors who were imprisoned in Iran for “insulting the sacred” and “propaganda against the state” for distributing music without a permit and working with female singers. They have both resumed their hunger strike after their demands for medical attention and to be reunited in prison are not met after two months: “We call on all musicians around the world to condemn these abuses with a worthy response…Do not forget us in these suffocating times… There’s no greater suffering than to be forgotten”.
