Remember Nazarin Ratcliffe? She is the British-Iranian woman who went to visit her family in Iran with her two-year old daughter only to be arrested by the IRGC in April before returning home to her husband in England. Her daughter is living in the meantime with her Iranian grandparents. During her numerous interrogations, she has signed what is sure to be a “forced confession”. Visits by her family in Iran were allowed and were suddenly stopped short without explanation and she still has no access to a lawyer. The British dad, Richard, was warned to not visit Iran for fear of being arrested as well and their daughter is not allowed to leave Iran. Last week, he was forced to celebrate his daughter’s second birthday over skype.
