Iran’s morality police now cracking down on unwed couples

The crackdowns in Iran are picking up speed: after targeting dress codes (hijab, “un-Islamic” clothes etc…), free speech (journalists, activists, bloggers etc…), art (poets, cartoonists, musicians etc…), opposition (politicians, activists, minorities etc…), minorities (Baha’is, Kurds, Sunnis etc…) the “morality police” is now ready to oppress “White Marriages”, Iranian couples who are living together out of wedlock. Why? Because such “marriages” are viewed to be impeding the birth-rate in Iran which is viewed as a critical problem by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
